On the 15th February 2007 Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS) and Grand Saga Sdn Bhd (GSSB) had jointly organised distribution of 50 goodie bags to road users in conjunction with the ‘Kembara Hijrah 2007’ at Toll Plaza, Batu 11, Cheras – Kajang Highway. The programme is part of the LZS campaign towards informing the community about zakat contribution during the month of ‘Muharam’ as an alternative month besides the ‘Ramadhan’ month. The General Manager of LZS, Tuan Hj. Ahmad Shahir b. Makhtar together with some of GSSB’s management staff distributed the goodie bags to road users. As part of the joint venture program, GSSB had sponsored 50 pieces of GSSB souvenir mugs to be included in the goodie bags and contributed to ‘Tabung Bantuan Banjir TV3’. Tuan Hj. Zainal Abidin Ali, Executive Director, Business Development and Corporate Affairs later flagged off a convoy of ‘Kembara Hijrah 2007’ comprising 20 vehicles at Batu 11, Toll Plaza.
