GSSB had planned to carry on the Road Safety Talk Program at schools together with Trafik Polis Daerah Kajang and Majlis Keselamatan Jalan Raya Selangor for the 5 years time.   For this year, we have selected 3 schools – Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Abdul Jalil, Hulu Langat, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Cheras Jaya, Balakong and Sekolah Menengah Bandar Damai Perdana, Cheras to participate in this outreach program.

On 27th April 2012, the 1st “Program Taklimat & Pameran Keselamatan Jalan Raya” was held at Sek. Men. Keb. Abdul Jalil, Batu 14, Hulu Langat.   The speaker was SM Zainal Alam bin Abd. Majeed from Trafik Polis Daerah Kajang.  An estimated turnout of 400 students attended the exhibition, briefing and quiz session.   Public Affairs of Polis DiRaja Malaysia.  Public Affairs of Polis Daerah Kajang, Polis Daerah Kajang put up an information booth on Road Safety on that day. 

The students gained valuable knowledge on the important of road safety particularly obeying the rules and traffic signs.  The speaker also reminded the students to be more responsible when using vehicle particularly motorcycle.
