Stretching at 11.5km, the intra-urban Cheras-Kajang Highway is a testimony to Malaysia’s capability, technology and expertise in the field of highway infrastructure.

Grand Saga, the toll highway, commenced toll collection on 15 January 1999 at the Batu 9 toll plaza, and the Batu 11 toll plaza, Cheras-kajang highway.

The Cheras-Kajang highway which stretches from Cheras, Kuala Lumpur to Saujana Impian, Kajang, is among the first four-lane dual carriageway in Malaysia.

The highway comprises two toll plazas, two lay-bys, one Rest and Service Area and nine interchanges namely Pasukan Gerakan Am, Hulu Langat, Telekom, Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Balakong, Sungai Long, Bukit Dukong, Sungai Balak, and Saujana Impian.

In 2005, Grand Saga won the Malaysian Highway Authority’s Best Highway Concessionaire Award for the Best Highway Management category. Grand Saga was also nominated for the Traffic & Safety Team category of the same award.

The Cheras-Kajang Highway was also awarded with the ISO 9001/2000 Certification on 9 January 2007.

Toll Plazas

Cheras-Kajang Highway toll plazas are situated at Batu 9 and Batu 11. The Batu 9 and Batu 11 toll plaza each has 15 and 12 operating toll booths respectively and are equipped with electronic toll collection systems - Touch 'n Go, Smart Tag, rfid and open payment lanes.
